Uma Reddy B.E from UVCE, a first generation entrepreneur, successfully running an ISO 9001-2015 certified M/S Hitech Magnetics & Electronics Pvt Ltd, manufacturing transformers, coils etc. and delivering critical technology
products to its customers, for the past 3.S decades
As a social leader, she has championed issues of MSMEs and being an active part of trade associations, understands the challenges, concerns & opportunities, and has constantly responded to the needs, in the direction of policy advocacy, facilitation, conducting need based events at FKCCI etc, upholding the values, with learning and sharing. She has also, focused in Women Entrepreneurship Development.
Uma Reddy has handled various committees as a Chairperson, Export Excellence Awards, Women Entrepreneurs, International Affairs, Manthan, Enterprise Development – Technology & Innovation Committees etc.
Uma Reddy was President for AWAKE, CLIK, eMERG and member of FICCI, NECM and UBUNTU Consortium.
She has won many National & State Awards, noteworthy are the National Award by Govt of India and Karnataka State Rajyotsava Award
