Shri Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, President, FKCCI met Shri M B Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industries and Infrastructure Development at his residence office today along with Shri M G Balakrishna, Sr. Vice President, Ms. Uma Reddy, Vice President and Shri Arvind Burji, Chairman, Industry Committee.

The President submitted a Memorandum listing out the issues of Industries, MSMEs Micro Industries which required to be resolved. The major issues related to increase in Minimum Wages on account of High Court Order, the President requested the Hon’ble Minister to coordinate with the Minister of Labour and to take appropriate action to safeguard the interest of the industries.

The Hon’ble Minister assured that he would call a meeting to sort out the issues.

The President also brought to the attention of the Hon’ble Minister about the condition of Industrial Areas around Bengaluru and proposed that the Hon’ble Minister along with the President and Office Bearers visit the areas to understand the infrastructural issues, maintenance and other problems being faced.

He also submitted the implication of increase in guidance value and Property tax issues. The Hon’ble Minister replied that he will convene a meeting on these issues with the concerned departments.

The Hon’ble Minister also accepted the Invitation to address the Members of FKCCI shortly.
