Today, an Interactive Meeting was held with Dr. Neeraj Patil, Former Mayor of London, Borough of Lambeth at FKCCI. Shri M G Balakrishna, President, FKCCI along with Smt. Uma Reddy, Sr. Vice-President, Shri Sairam Prasad, Vice-President, Dr. A Balaji Rao, Chairman, Association Committee, Smt. Rupa Rani, Co-Chairperson, Association Committee, Dr. CA I S Prasad, Past President, FKCCI and Advisor, Association Committee heartily welcomed the Chief Guest.

Dr. Neeraj Patil who has the roots from Karnataka and now a distinguished leader of the Labour Party in Britain briefed about strengthening the Trade and Economic Ties between Karnataka and UK having historical roots and stressed on deeper engagements that benefit both regions. He also gave a brief account of installation of Saint Basaveshwara Statue on River Thames as an everlasting tribute to Karnataka’s great philosopher and social reformer. He cordially invited the President and all the members of FKCCI for the commemoration celebration of Sri Basaveshwara on 30th April 2025 at London.

He described Bengaluru city as one of the best cities and gave various suggestions for better administration. In the Interactive Session, Shri Neeraj Patil replied and clarified many of the queries raised by the members.
