Shri R Manohar, IRS, Commissioner, Tax Payers Services, CBIC, Bengaluru paid a courtesy visit to Shri Perikal M Sundar, President, FKCCI at President’s office.

President welcomed the Commissioner and briefed about the Century old federation which always works for the betterment of Members. The Federation has good rapport with State and Central Government and is offering suggestions in the preparation of Central & State Budgets. The suggestions made by the Federation are accepted by the Government. It was brought to the notice of the Commissioner that the behavioral aspects of the Officers at GST office and CBIC office are the matter of concern. The members have informed to the chamber the treatment given by the officers need to be improved. Off late the GST officers are not supposed to speak in the webinars and virtual meets organized by Chambers and other business associations. This is hurdle for cordial relation between the State and the Associations. Further, added that the matter will be taken up with the Finance Minister, GoI for participation of GST officers for efficient and effective communication to the tax payers, in the meetings to be arranged by the Chamber and Associations.
