FKCCI proposed that the portal be modelled on the GST framework to streamline daily business operations.

The FKCCI delegation, led by Mr. M.G. Balakrishna, President, along with Mr. T Sairam Prasad, Vice President, Mr. Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, Imm. Past President, and Mr. Sanjay Bhasin, Chairman, APMC Committee, met with Mr. Shivanand Kapashi, IAS, Director, Department of Agricultural Marketing and Managing Director of KSAMB, to discuss key issues related to the APMC online portal. The team emphasized the need to expedite the portal’s implementation while addressing other critical challenges concerning APMCs.

The President volunteered that FKCCI can be of help in providing inputs and suggestions from experts to develop the portal.

Additionally, discussions were held on improving infrastructure in and around APMC yards.
