FKCCI Delegation Meets Commissioner of Commercial Taxes to Discuss GST Hike on Paper and Its Industry Impact

Ms. Uma Reddy, President, along with Mr. T. Sairam Prasad, Sr. Vice President, Mr. B. T. Manohar, Chairman, State GST Committee, Shri K. Shivashanmugam, Past President, Mr. D. M. Bhattad, Vice Chairman, State GST Committee, and Mr. Ashwin, Member, State GST Committee, FKCCI, met Shri Vipul Bansal, IAS, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Karnataka.

Ms. Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI, raised the issue of the recent GST hike on paper and discussed its adverse impact on the industry. The delegation also highlighting the challenges faced by paper manufacturers and traders due to the increase, and requested the Commissioner to consider suitable relief measures.
