Economic Research Cell

In a committed effort to provide research support to the industry, the FKCCI has launched a dedicated research wing Sir M. Visveswaraya Economic Research Centre (VERC). VERC has been set up to provide comprehensive research information to the industry on various aspects of conducting business in the State of Karnataka. This initiative is the first of its kind in Karnataka and is aimed at creating an information-driven business culture in the State.

VERC conducts empirical research based on primary data on economic and social policy issues, macroeconomic analysis and projections, as well as fiscal and monetary policies. We undertake to provide extensive, well-researched, up-to-date and reliable information. Our data and research findings will help businesses to make timely and informed decisions. SMVERC proposes to build and maintain a data-bank on business and economic indicators across sectors. Our research center will be a ready reckoner for all information needed for conducting business in the State of Karnataka.
